For players in school year Reception, 1 and 2 - please join our Hockey Heroes programme. Hockey Heroes is a fun and welcoming 8-week programme aimed at beginners aged 5-8 that aims to develop both their physical and character 'superpowers', unlocking the hero inside them! Courses start in September and March. Register online.
Our Saturday Squad runs a couple of times a year and is open to players who have completed 1 or 2 sessions of Hockey Heroes, or have some Hockey experience. Players will be invited to join the squad as appropriate.
For players in school years 3 to 9 - please register online and we will be in touch as soon as possible. Unfortunately we are unable to offer trial sessions.
We’re a community club for all so places for all U10 and U12 age groups will be allocated strictly by date and time of joining the waiting list. To be fair to everyone we do not take into account friendships, siblings, school or previous hockey experience.
Priority is to given to our Hockey Heroes/Saturday Squadders joining our U8 squad.
We may ask new players joining our U14 squad to attend a trial session before joining to ensure a balance of skill and experience across the squad.
Training and match fees
The Club charges an annual all-inclusive membership fee covering training costs, insurance, player affiliation to England Hockey and match/tournament fees for outdoor GHA festivals and league/championship matches.
There may be additional charges for extraordinary training such as vixens, specialist county cup preparation, indoor training or ‘special events’ such as the Copper Box.

The annual membership fee is reviewed each May for the forthcoming season.
